Friends: I am SO excited to share all the details from last Thursday's ABC Carpet & Home + Yellow Table spring dinner party. Despite all of my fears surrounding this event, I survived. And much more than survived – I actually had a blast! Thank you all so much for your notes of encouragement, prayers, and thoughts, and to my incredible husband for his endless support (and for putting up with my manic schedule the past few weeks!!). But most of all, I owe a HUGE thanks to my brilliant friend Jenn Elliott Blake who flew in from Seattle to help me pull this off. Not only did she style the event like a CHAMP, but she was my sidekick all week, running around the city sourcing flowers and food and props (in the pouring rain) and helping me take care of a zillion little details. I truly couldn't have done it without her!! Despite some crazy near-disasters, the dinner ended up surpassing anything I could have ever imagined. The night was truly a dream come true.

Per usual, I'm running out the door for a meeting, so for now I'm going to have to leave you with a few teaser photos. Signe snapped these beautiful images pre-party (I insisted that she put down her camera once the party started and actually be a guest!!), and we were lucky enough to get Jenn's friend Dorothée Brand to come photograph the event. I can't wait to share Dorothée's photos with you in the coming weeks...they are sure to be dreamy. Check in later today for a longer post with stories and details...there's so much to tell!
