Hi friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I don't know about you all, but when this glorious springtime weather hits, all I want to do is be outdoors. Yesterday, in particular was perfect, with blue skies, sunshine, and weather in the upper '70's. B and I decided to take a walk to Brooklyn (intending to be gone just a few hours), but ended up walking over 8 miles! After brunch in Boerum Hill, we wound up in Prospect Park, on a blanket with a bunch of friends and an impromptu picnic. The day was totally unplanned and so much fun. Best of all, I left my phone at home, which – frankly – was really nice.

So, I have a confession to make. After nearly 4 years of blogging, and embracing most forms of social media (Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, to name a few), the one thing that I just can't quite wrap my head around is Pinterest. I've been on there for several years and have created 35 boards. Admittedly, I don't pin daily, but whenever I do go on, I instantly feel overwhelmed by ALL the zillions of images. Pinterest is by far and away the area of social media that I have the fewest interactions with people, have the least growth, and feel the most confused by.

Clearly, I'm missing something. I have so many friends (both bloggers and non-bloggers) who LOVE Pinterest! In fact, many food bloggers I know say that 50% or more of their traffic comes from Pinterest. And I hear from people all the time that Pinterest is one of their top sources for recipe inspiration.

Though I feel a bit clueless at the moment, I really want to learn to use Pinterest to connect with current – and potential – blog readers, and to provide recipe and dinner party inspiration. In the meantime, I'd LOVE your feedback! I've got a few quick questions below that I would be so grateful if you'd answer in the comments below. In exchange for your help, you'll be entered into a drawing for bag of my homemade maple pecan granola! THREE winners will be announced Wednesday, and I'll mail out the granola ASAP.

1) Please take a look at my Yellow Table boards on Pinterest (and follow me if you like!). Which ones would you follow? What would type of boards should I add? I'd love any feedback (good or bad) that you have!

2) How often do you use Pinterest? (Daily? Weekly? If so, how many times?) Do you typically browse Pinterest during the day or at night?

3) What is your primary reason for using Pinterest?

4) Do you get recipe ideas off Pinterest? What type of recipes do you look for?

5) Who do you usually follow on Pinterest? Bloggers? Celebrities? Friends? Brands?

Thank you SO much for your feedback, and can't wait to send one of you some granola!!

xo, Anna
