Happy Labor Day weekend! Wow - is summer really almost over?! Already, the days are getting shorter and the evenings a little cooler, and I am bracing myself for the moment when I'll have to retire the rooftop dinners and rosé until next year. But for this weekend, I'm going to relish the last days of summer – and I hope you will too!

With no furher ado, here are 12 fun things to cook, read, and do this weekend:

COOK:

-Lavender & Rosemary Rose Pops (Volatizing the Esthers)

-Green Salad with Nectarines, Corn, and Peanuts (Sprouted Kitchen)

-Grilled Eggplant with Quinoa and Cherry Tomatoes (A Couple Cooks)

-Crispy Pesto Baked Zucchini (Love & Lemons)

-Heirloom Tomato Panzanella (The Yellow Table)

-Grilled Skirt Steak Tacos with Corn Salsa (The Yellow Table)

-Peach Blackberry Cobbler (The Yellow Table)

DO:

Whatever it is that you've been wanting to do all summer, whether that's a trip to the beach, a jump in the lake, a hike in the mountains, a double-scoop ice cream cone, a sunset glass of rose, a jog in the park, a backyard picnic, or a piece of blueberry pie – make it happen! And if you want to do nothing at all, then do just that. Savor these last few moments of summer while you have them...fall is just around the corner.

Enjoy your long weekend, and see you next week!
