Happy Friday, friends! I've been feeling pretty under-the-weather the past few days, so I'm going to keep this short and sweet. But I do have a lot of fun tidbits to share, so here goes...!

-I was so honored to be able to host a FEED Supper this past week around the yellow table! (In case you didn't know, FEED is an awesome organization that is rallying people to make a collective dent in world hunger.) Between Sept. 16 - Oct. 16 they asked people to host FEED Suppers in their homes, with the goal of raising enough money to provide 1 million meals for hungry children and families around the world. I love the idea of gathering around the table for a good cause, and I was thrilled that our dinner raised enough to donate over 2250 meals!! If you still want to host a dinner in the coming days, click here to learn how.

-The night of our FEED supper, I had the chance to try out Cappello's, an amazing Colorodo-based brand that makes fresh gluten-free, grain-free pastas, gnocchi, and chocolate chip cookie dough. (My three love languages!) When they offered to send me some to try out, I admit I was a bit skeptical, as I've never had gluten-free pasta that I've liked.

For our dinner, I made lamb ragu along with Cappello's fettucine and it was fabulous. Made from almond flour, this pasta was light and perfectly al dente – not leaden and gummy like the other ones I've tried. I cooked 4 batches of pasta and there wasn't a bite left! As for the cookies: wow. I never use cookie dough (much less vegan cookie dough!), but these were spectacular. The cookies are made from almond flour as well, with coconut oil, maple syrup, dark chocolate chips, and sea salt. If you're gluten-free and want really great pasta and cookies, check them out! They deliver to 48 out of the 50 states, and are sold all over Colorodo.

-Exciting news: I'm getting advance copies of the cookbook by the end of this month (!!) and I'll be shipping all Kickstarter (and online shop) orders the 2nd week of November from Nashville. So you should all get your books by Thanksgiving! (I don't know about you, but I cannot wait!!!)

-My "Everyday Entertaining" column for Tasting Table this week is about a topic I think might interest you all: How to plan out exactly how much food to make for your next dinner party, so you'll never run out of food (or end up drowning in leftovers) again! Click here to read.
